Review of The Player

This show is very good and action packed. It is well acted and well written too. The characters are likable and they aren't sappy. Some of it may seem too far fetched sometimes, but not much and it provides a nice break from super-realistic, serious shows. The concept is interesting and keeps you hooked. If you like action shows that are the film version of 'page turners' then you would like The Player. One of a few good shows on NBC, I hope that they don't cancel it. If you are interested in shows that have plot lines that focus on 'good vs evil and how sometimes there isn't a clear line', then it's just another reason to watch the show. Right now it is competing with football to get viewers, but don't let that deter you. Record it and watch it, it's worth it.
