You may never see acting like this today

I love The Big Valley- and the series never gets old. The amazing Barbra Stanwyck, newcomers Linda Evans and Lee Majors, and of course Peter Breck and Richard Long made a terrific series. Really terrific. Very rarely do you see a performance where the actor BECOMES the character. Watch this episode with Lee Grant as Rosemary Williams- especially during the scenes with her father. She is amazing and beautiful inside and out. What a talent. Nothing rings untrue, and it is real enough to make you cry. Wonderful acting, and one of my favorite episodes. Whatever time Lee Grant was forced to forgo acting, she more than made up for it.
