Eerie thriller where a psychologically unbalanced girl becomes the college roommate of a girl whose sister died when the girl was nine years old.
Immediately, the roommate, Rebecca, begins to dominate the life of the girl as she really wants to be her dead sister. She causes havoc with the girl's former boyfriend, the latter she later kills and puts a designing professor, Billy Zane, in a very awkward position when he has a different form designing on his mind.
