Brother Avery (Pat Hingle) is the leader of some oddball cult fanatics and he glows at the end of his talks. What does this mean? Vincent knows.
I am the first to review this episode, which might indicate that some are lost for words about this hour: I was lost for words at first.
The Prophet is a drop in quality after ten mostly wonderful episodes. There seems to be a lazy feeling to the scripting and direction here. Is it possible all concerned with this series were a little burned out after putting together ten great movie-like hours in a short space of time? I think so.
This plot here can be called interesting but the episode can only just be called good.
The creepy image of glowing Avery and seeing Vincent almost murdered by a vintage Ford car make two scenes very memorable
