This is a duplicate of the movie Joe Dakota starring Jock Mahoney. Most of the scenes are very close replicas. The writer (Norman Jolley) wrote both stories, so I suppose he can use it as many times as he wants to. Most Wagon Train stories have been fairly original, although it's hard to have ideas that haven't been tried in some form before. I'm just surprised at how closely this followed the Joe Dakota plot without changing it up a bit. The Bill Hawks character is much weaker than the character the Joe Dakota character that Jock Mahoney played, otherwise it's not a bad episode. It would be interesting to see how many other stories this writer has used more than once.
