Review of Episode #2.4

Humans: Episode #2.4 (2016)
Season 2, Episode 4
9/10
the achievement of consciousness in itself is not enough
8 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I find it interesting that it was a synth who said something that i found moving. When Mattie takes Odi back to the empty house of George Millican, Odi, newly conscious, makes the statement:

"I remember his death.

I remember feeling nothing.

I feel something now."

This series seems to get more interesting as i get further along in it

There will be the inevitable comparisons of this to another similarly themed series of 2016 and though they explore the same questions about artificial intelligence gaining sentience, one had a much greater budget than the other.

I comment whoever has supplied the cover photo for this episode. They found one of the best scenes to be representative of the episode. The idea of consciousness from nothingness is interesting. Possibly the girls find killing other sentient beings to be so easy since they have learned the emotion of anger but not that of conscience.
