They used to say "If it's the Sphinx . . . "

Warning: Spoilers
" . . . it stinks," compelling that iniquitous film outfit's Disney MegaCorp parent company to dump this Egyptian concern in favor of beginning a Pac-Man style assault against World Culture, gobbling up such entities as The Muppets, The Brothers Grimm, STAR WARS, the Marvel Universe, Charles Dickens, Pixar, Victor Hugo, and the Wonderful World of Colored Princesses, among others. However, if this animated short--THE EYES HAVE IT--is representative of the Disney output decades BEFORE the Sphinx debuted, it's fairly shocking that this amusement park chain stayed in the movie business long enough to turn its rides into cinema franchises. The main character of EYES is a demented duck who quacks out unintelligible gibberish. Howard is depicted as a sadistic animal abuser, cackling with delight as he "hypnotizes" his pet dog Bluto into one demeaning guise after another. It seems quite plausible that this Deplorable Disney Duck Division originated the idea for school bullying among America's impressionable youth through such tawdry fare as EYES.
