Circumstantial evidence plays a big part in too many pictures
1 September 2017
A good, interesting picture with clearly drawn characters and a well- developed story which, in itself, offers nothing noteworthy. Circumstantial evidence plays a big part in too many pictures to affect us deeply any more. Of course this is true only for those who have seen pictures for a long while. The speed with which this picture is carried to its climax, and the acting of most of its characters makes it a very fair offering. The photography is clear enough. - The Moving Picture World, May 3, 1913
