I always trust imdb scores because they are mostly close to mine. Just not today.
Solid 8 for me and even 9 if i am having a bad day but i give 10 to balance it.
Acting is pretty good. Side characters can be meh sometimes but main characters are in the mood and they are delivering it, main baddies are decent. Cgi sometimes really bad sometimes really good but overall it suits very well. Jokes are on point, not trying so hard.. Soundtracks works fine and they are cool.
When i was a kid i really liked Hercules and Xena so this is a gem for me.(never seen original monkey)
Don't judge on plot. Main characters will grow on you in 2-3 episodes.
Overall after a hard day if you want to sit back, relax and have some fun whitout thinking too much you are in the right place.
