Review of The Last Waltz

I was never a big fan of The Band, but this movie might have changed that! What a Thanksgiving! And the people that joined them on stage! Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Ringo Starr, Van Morrison, Muddy Waters, Dr. John - just to name a few! And two old Beat poets, Michael McClure and Lawrence Ferlinghetti, drop a few poems to boot! Lots of my favorites, all in one place! I'm glad I finally saw this! And I loved that last shot, pushing out from The Band with the globe lights on each side. Magic.
