Review of Ariana Grande Feat. Iggy Azalea: Problem

These 3.5 minute swe got here are the music video for the Ariana Grande song "Problem". Grande is a huge star in America, has been for a while and this is due to songs like this one here as well. What I liked about it is that her singing and voice here sounded a lot the way it did in Sam&Cat, especially during the chorus, but that is really all the positive I can say I am afraid. The visual side, i.e. the video itself, did very little for me and at almost 5 years now I also would not say it has aged particularly well. Empty and pointless, maybe irrelevant too may fit the description. The rapping parts by Iggy Azalea added nothing for me either, but this could also be because I am neither a big rap music fan nor an Azalea fan in the slightest. I kinda like Grande, here a bit too, but this wasn't her brightest hour and I have heard much better stuff from here. Surprises me a bit this became such a huge hit to be honest, also with over a billion clicks on Youtube now since its release. Oh yeah, director is Nev Todorovic here and he has collaborated with Grande on previous occasions as well, seemingly (according to imdb) not with too many others, so I am not sure it is accurate to say experience does not pay off in this scenario. All in all, it's enough if you just listen to the record and skip the video I guess. Not recommended.
