*Spoiler/plot- The Green Hornet, 1940. A new young newspaper owner and playboy become the papers editor and seems to have changed from his father's older strident style. But secretly, the new owner is a crime fighter that uses the news to fight crime.

*Special Stars- Gordon Jones, Wade Boteler, Keye Luke, Anne Nagel, Stanley Andrews.

*Theme- The newspaper media use to fight and support good citizenship and fairness.

*Trivia/location/goofs- B & W, Theatrical serial. Brit Read voice as the Green Hornet was dubbed by another actor once the mask was in place. Kato was played by Mr. Key Luke and was supposed to be Korean butler to get away from Japanese WW2 stereotype problems. The Black Beauty was a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr 3-passenger Coupe with fender skirts. 13 episodes.

*Emotion- A memorable film serial plot and excellent production elements for the viewer. The acting and direction of the plot builds tension, suspense, and wonder on how the film will turn out. This is an excellent film of the time and still manages to entertain even today.
