I have to admit, I was a bit nervous when I heard that an important character would die that would affect everyone in the Dunphy/Pritchett clan for several episodes. I first thought it would be Frank (Phil's dad) or Javier (Manny's dad), but worried it would be someone bigger. I'm kind of bummed we won't see Shelly anymore- her episodes were always guaranteed winners- but I feel like it was a good choice and it was handled wonderfully. You'd think it'd be a bit more of a somber episode, but it was hilarious, absolutely loved it. The costumes alone were worth a watch!
