I don't know what the writers were thinking when they decided to do an episode of this sort, and just to make it more difficult, DeDe was the person to die. She is a complex character, and in the past, has been a bit of a pain, which makes it difficult to create sympathy among the audience, and I certainly didn't feel anything. They tried to write in cheap jokes which were just awkward, relative to the topic, and the atmosphere and overall episode just couldn't decide what it was. Was it sad? Was it funny? I have no idea.
Lily's character is annoying as ever, which I guess is supposed to be funny? I don't know. Her contribution to this episode was simply to mess with Gloria.
I'm really disappointed with this show, and I'm now just waiting for a great show to finish up. They should have put this to sleep 4 seasons ago
