There are some quality people in this movie and it shows.
This is not a Christmas Rom/Com. There is no developing romance. The tone is more somber than festive. The story lays a deep foundation for what is to come, but it is also slow. It doesn't help that Richard is so annoying for so much of the film.
There is a mystic aspect resulting from Richards dreams that bleed over into his waking reality.There is some suspense as to what is going on.
The soundtrack is a little heavy at times.
