The Star of Bethlehem (2007 Video)
8/10
Tedious...mind-blowing...unforgettable
1 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The presentation format is not bad but is a little tedious if you are not the patient type. If you can manage to make it past the "lecture style" presentation, it is actually some pretty remarkable research, information and conclusions that are presented. One cannot help be be impacted by it in some way.

Potential Spoiler here: The author / presenter (and lawyer by profession) does not actually conclude that December 25th is the date of the birth of baby Jesus. It may surprise you to learn what to what conclusion the evidence draws the audience.

Starting at about 47:15 in the online version of this , the author / presenter states (and I try to quote exactly): "The date when it stops over the little town of Bethlehem...12-25 of 2 BC. ...Does that date sound familiar? "Well Mr. Larson, you mean they went down there on Christmas?". Well, it turns out that's true....Um, am I saying that Jesus was born on 12-25? No! I'm not saying that at all! Absolutely n - In fact, I don;t think anyone thinks that. No, what I'm saying is that is quite liter - or quite possibly the date of the first Christmas. Did it have any meaning to them? No. It had no meaning - the day had no meaning to them because they didn't even use our calendar system. I mean...but it does have meaning to us..it could well be a sign to us..."

You may have to watch it more than once and pause at a few points to take it all in and catch the meaning. Highly recommended for all ages. Mind Blowing...a little tedious - but mind blowing and unforgettable.
