Warning: Spoilers
TARZAN AND THE GREEN GODDESS is the second of two films made that were edited from a 1935 serial called THE NEW ADVENTURES OF TARZAN (the first film shares a title with the serial). Herman Brix plays the eponymous hero, battling the usual criminal types in a Guatemala seemingly inhabited by half of Africa's wildlife. This is quite laughable and inept at times, and in the end impossible to sit through properly given that it's so choppily edited and cut down from the original.
