Review of Now Apocalypse

Not even the sex can keep this series from being boring. It is Gregg Araki rehashing everything he has already done. ZERO originality. Yes he has a distinctive and visually interesting style, but he has done everything in this series before multiple times and while it was something to be seen and talked about in the 90s, it is just sort of tired and recycled now. If someone has never seen anything he has done before this may be marginally more of an interesting series but really it just seems like the work of someone who instead of maturing and getting deeper and better at their craft is just reaching back to stuff from the beginning of their career desperately trying to hold on to the breath of youth and vigor.
