It's not a common thing for me to review games, in fact this is the first, but Blackflag is excellent.
I enjoy the Assasin's Creed games, the games with Ezio were the best but this one is the best of them all. I'm not keen on the newer AC games (Rogue, Unity, Syndicate, Origins and Odyssey)
Blackflag was the last game of Desmond Miles' ancestry which does make sense as the current generation playing AC probably don't know who Desmond Miles is, but it's good that they did it as it fleshes out the backstory of Assasins Creed III with Connor and Hatham set in America.
Personally I think the game would be still as amazing without the 'modern day' aspect, just a Caribbean pirates game (not to be confused with Pirates of the Caribbean) but at least this kept it inline with the previous games.
