Even as a mexican, I couldn't care less about football (or soccer, whatever). That's why I hesitated to start watching Club de Cuervos...thankfully this series is not really about football. The show focuses on the misadventures of two brothers trying not to ruin the football club, that was inherited from their late father. The sinopsis sounds normal, but the show could not be more hilarious and stupid and unrealistic (in a good way).
The story keeps itself very simple throught the show, actually it reminds me of the tipical mexican telenovela. That means that there are a lot of plot holes and incongruences, but if you consider what Club de Cuervos tries to do, these errors will be irrelevant for you.
Club de Cuervos only wants to make you laugh, and it succeeds masterfully on it. Keep in mind, this is a mexican product, and that's what I would not recommend it highly to people that don't speak spanish, because (I suppose) the jokes will be lost in translation.
So, if you're mexican or a latino, and even if you despise football, Club de Cuevos is a series that you should totally watch.
