I'm not sure if I liked the series or not. The plot was interesting in that there were many versions of the story told by its' characters. What I found odd was Patrick Dempsey performance. I don't think he is a great actor, a passable one but not a great actor. He takes on roles where he is the 'nice man', the 'good man'. Here I didn't think his performance was OK. Kristine Roseth's performance was solid and strong as in she embodied the role. I found Virginia Madsen playing the same recurring role that is her career. Boring, boring role. Predictable. The remaining cast was fine. Damon Wayans Jr. and the remaining cast was fine.
There were plot challenges. Why isn't Harry astute to figure out that Nola is harming herself. Much foreshadowing to help bring the death to a conclusion. One I'm not pleased with - should have, could have - I just wanted a more dramatic reason for this young woman's death. I was disappointed but not to say it was a wrong or incomplete ending / reason she is dead.
