It sounds and looks just like 1970s TV shows for kids. All it needs is a laugh track to make it just like Batman, Gilligan's Island, and the Monkeys. The sets look cheap, like you could knock down any wall with a good push. Yeah, there's a lot of other things wrong with this film. But it is just so badly dated, and was when it first came out. Yes it can be mildly amusing, but for all the wrong reasons. I did read some of the books, before seeing this film in theaters, where I was working as an usher,and I was immediately disappointed. Doc deserves better.
