But Cody will play one of the key roles in alerting Rachel's bestie, Laura, to the predicament she is in, when Craig handcuffs her to the bed, then kidnaps her. Forced into marriage through blackmail, Rachel seems to be heading to her "honeymoon" in Belize, prior to the heroics of Cody.
There was an interesting set of characters in "The Husband She Met Online." But the central catalyst for the action was mama's "little puppet" Craig, whose true colors slowly emerge for Rachel. Despite the melodrama, the film took the audience on a roller coaster ride in the relationship of Craig and Rachel that went from euphoria to heartbreak to hell.
