What a beautiful, sweet film
12 February 2020
This film is a delight from the start to the very end. I found myself forgetting that I was watching a movie, that these images and characters were fictional.

This beautiful film tells the story of 9-year old Alma and her two older brothers Jean and Seb. Their parents divorced many years age (a french mom and an italian dad) and they are about to spend 2 weeks with their dad in Italy before moving permanently to Canada with their mom and stepfather.

As we move forward with the story the director Ginevra Elkann shapes and forms her characters little by little, bit by bit and there are lots of small but important details to be found. The film is very simple and straight-forward but the attention to detail is breathtaking. What mesmerized me the most was such a great care and passion behind this film, as if everything was planned and thought upon perfectly.

I've enjoyed this film immensely and can not wait to see it again when it properly releases.
