I see that this tv-movie was nominated for two golden globes. I wouldn't go that far but it's a decent crime drama certainly for a tv-movie. A former mobster is going into the Wiess Protection Program after somebody snitched on him, what leads to a bit of mayhem in his family. The movie has to have it from the acting, what was excellent if you ask me. The story is a bit basic but because of the good cast it's certainly worth watching. Tom Sizemore was brilliant, and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio did also a good job, both playing the husband and wife in this drama. The rest of the cast was also good, first time I saw Shawn Hatosy this young, and Forest Whitaker always delivers, still waiting for a bad movie with him. Witness Protection is a good movie about this subject.
