The 'Movie of Disquiet' is a screen adaptation of Fernado Pessoa's masterpiece 'The Book of Disquiet', published in 1982 (47 years after Pessoa's demise).
The book is composed of fragmented pieces of diary-like texts from Bernardo Soares (one of Pessoa's alter-egos) with anotation-like texts from Pessoa himself, making it as complex as its author.
The movie follows the exact same method, with little (if any) changes from the book's texts.
