Over the years I've developed a real appreciation for spaghetti westerns. But even with my growing respect for the genre, the non-Sergio Leone spaghetti westerns are hit and miss. "The Ruthless Four" is a good one. It's almost a really good one. The story and characters are interesting and the acting, for the most part, is quite good. The music isn't so hot and the movie does lose it's way once in a while but none of that is a deal breaker. It does feel a little longer than its running time but that's not a deal breaker either. I enjoyed "The Ruthless Four" a lot more than I expected. I plan on watching it again real soon.
