This movie is just another one that aims to re-write history of Germany. The whole movie is about to feel sorry for the Germans, create empathy and reduce the vile and unhuman slaughter av Poles made by Germans.
The movies narrative is to focus on poor Germans, who are good in heart, doesnt want to go to war, are simple teachers,carpenters etc. And there is only one "bad" German in the whole movie. Bad are also the Russians that occupied Eastern Germany.
The whole idea that a Polish partisan falls in love with a Nazi is so absurd that you almost get irritated.
Movies of this kind are in a long term very dangerous, as people today, and especially youth take knowledge from movies and not science and books. This movie should have a warning text before it starts. "This movie is a fiction/fantasy" and nothing of it could happened in reality".
