Using Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure as a bench mark, G.B.F. should be rated PG. B&T uses more swear words and also has underaged drinking. I don't see anything else in G.B.F that exceeds this.
I think this is a great story for LGBTQIA+ and questioning teens.
