George Jetson (voiced by George Hanlon) is a lazy operative and has been shipped off with his family to work at a deep space mining colony that makes cogs, but finds that someone or something is sabotaging the operation.
What was intended as a re-boot feature animated film by Hanna Barbera of the classic 1960s cartoon sitcom series misfired and bombed as sadly the original TV cartoon series did. However the original 'The Jetsons' did become the inspiration for the more successful 'Futurama' cartoon TV series. It does benefit from being faithful to the original 60s show but with added modern pop songs, videos and references.
