A pathetic film
6 September 2020
Shaun of the Dead was a brilliant movie but I can't believe that 15 years later insipid film makers are still churning out poor zombie comedies (or "zomedies") with silly titles, this sub genre is well and truly passed its sell by date. Credit here to them for signing up horror movie legends Bill Moseley, Kane Hodder and Michael Berryman, plus always a delight to see British Scream Queen Emily Booth. But that is the only positive on offer here, otherwise it's a terribly poor attempt at horror comedy, the dialogue belongs in the gutter, the acting is on the whole bad, especially the two main male characters, and it is utterly unoriginal. The end credits couldn't roll soon enough, a really bad movie with many dubious reviews on here.
