Great lacrosse film!!

Warning: Spoilers
I'm so happy that there is officially a second lacrosse film that came out after "Crooked Arrows". "The Grizzlies" is another lax film I'm looking forward to checking out soon and add it into my reviews here on IMDB. Hopefully now the lax films will become more commonplace.

As for the film itself, I liked the plot and all but there are 2 things that needs mentioning:

1) I didn't see why they had to add a military element into this one. What I mean is having marine corps soldiers and all that. It appeared that Kellan Lutz's character was already well disciplined from the start despite his angry tirade there when smashing up the trophy case. He was just mad that he lost his father and he took it out on everyone around him. I know what that feels from first-hand experience when my parents divorced and I ended up being mad at the world for the longest time. I just never saw any connection between lacrosse and the marine corps. 2) Toward the end there when they went to sudden death overtime where each team only had their goalie and a runner. Normally, that would never happen since lacrosse is never played that way, even in overtime. I really don't know WHY they did that. I was quite surprised when I saw that but it was only done for the film since someone in the filming crew wanted to try something different. I think this film deserves a 9 out of 10.
