No need to dissect this horrible take on my favorite pulp hero; it's obvious the producers were embarrassed with their material and didn't see the need to make a serious superhero film.
A number of reviewers here have suggested that it's time for a new Doc Savage movie, but I'm not so sure. I'm speaking as a diehard fan of the Bantam novels of the 60's and 70's;
I don't think the Doc Savage stories, as they exist, would ever make good movies -some
major rewrites would be necessary. Leave out his aides, for one("Holy Cow!"). Make Doc Savage just one character in a 'Justice League'
-type film, perhaps. Otherwise, leave Doc where his adventures are enjoyed best -on the
pages of a pulp novel.
