Even though I was the age and demographic this movie was aimed at when it was released, I've only just got around to watch it 25 years later.
Wow, full of far fetched and incorrect information, it covers itself in so much cheese and 90s "cred" it's wonderfully painful.
As a film, it's actually awful. From terrible writing, to hammy acting with a nonsensical plot it could be easily hated. However it has just enough character and charisma wrapped in lovely coat of 90s attitude that I can totally understand why this has become a cult classic.
Definitely NOT to be taken seriously in any way and as long as you know what you're getting yourself into, it can be a great fun 90s ride.
