Review of Great Expectations

I greatly disliked this. It took the original story, which no doubt has some very grim characters, and created a dark, cheerless and frightening experience. Watching it created such a different feeling than when reading the book it was hard to imagine it was the same story being told. Very disappointing and I strongly do not recommend, especially for children.
