Cardcaptor Sakura is a staple of magical girl anime and for a good reason. It is a charming story about a young girl trying to protect the world from a deck of magical cards she accidentally released. Unlike most magical girl anime, the story is less about the battle of good and evil. Instead, it is more like a slice of life with a magical element. It is too cute and I am sad that it is already over. I guess it is time to watch the movies.
