You'll be scratching your head at the ending!

Warning: Spoilers
WARNING! SPOILER!

Yes, it had a good message. Yes, the acting was fairly well done. Yes, the plot was good. Yes, it was tense and you didn't know what was going to happen. Yes, the production values were fairly decent. HOWEVER The problem he and his wife had was NEVER even touched upon. He kept making REALLY STUPID decisions. The film had some glaring plot holes, ESPECIALLY police procedures. As a few examples: He would have NEVER been allowed to keep his gun and badge. He would never have been allowed to visit the victims. The department would have been making sure that he didn't screw up the case. The victims would never have been allowed anywhere near him. And at the end, what in the world ever happened to the person who started the whole thing?! It was like a big meal in which , even though there was a lot of food, the cook left out some key ingredients! All in all, I feel that when you're done watching this, you're going to feel somewhat cheated at the fact that the ending was resolved so stupidly!
