A well crafted documentary that still manages to sparked wonder.

Before Walking with Dinosaurs, there really hadn't been a documentary that vividly recreated the prehistoric world in both an educational and story focused manner. Of course, as science marches onward much of content of the series becomes inaccurate, but that leaves the viewer to appreciated the storytelling and craft of it. You're characters are animals, extinct animals, who are not able to express or emote. And yet this series is able to create compelling and engaging stories from its prehistoric cast. It's something that very few documentaries since have been able to recreate and why this still stands as a fascinating and compelling series.
