It's like they found a bunch of unfinished scripts for a Tales From the Crypt anthology and tried to tie them all together via a replica Amityville dollhouse.
This is why we end up of with zombie dads, girls trapped in fire places, lustful step mothers, burrowing giant bugs, none of which really have any reason to connect with each other well, but play out in some sort of half plot about house fires and demons.
It's far down the sequel line but that's no reason to excuse it as being anything but completely rubbish that didn't need making.
Points for the effects crew, the zombie dad / burns are pretty good but in no way, 'make-up', for anything else in the film. If you like sci-fi channel style production you may find it ok.
