Kudos to Lacey Chabert for how well she took on the challenge of dancing for this movie. She was so graceful and elegant! In most of her movies she looks so self-conscious clutching a shoulder bag or throwing a snowball (at the most inopportune times, I might add) that her dancing skills were that much more impressive.
I am a huge Chabert fan. I make sure to see all her movies. I think she does a great job conveying emotions and engaging the viewers. Yes - many comment on her nervous giggle at times which can be annoying. I wish the movie editors would just cut out the giggles. How hard could that be?
I have a crush on her dancing partner, Will Kemp. too. I love all his Hallmark movies. He no doubt made Lacey's dancing accomplishments a bit easier. lol
All in all, it was a nice change of pace from the usual Hallmark Christmas repertoire. It actually could be aired year round.
The child acting and dance performers were wonderful and helped to make the movie finale quite special.
The end was a bit abrupt. I wouldn't have minded seeing more.
