This is a fun fantastical film. Its a little on the slight side, but I enjoyed in its theatrical run and still enjoy it to this day.
The only complaint I have is that the quality of the fantasy sequences is uneven. The scenes from the Turk's Palace are sublime and haunting. The King of the Moon scenes with Robin Williams make me cringe. I've always thought of Robin Williams worked only in small doses. There is way too much of him here'. The Oliver Reed scenes are better but still a bit monotonous.
Still, I recommend this film to anyone seeking a 90 minute diversion from reality.
