You wonder why they didn't think to burn the building earlier, and especially at night when the fire would be easily seen and have the whole city calling it in. Tying fire hoses together and climbing down 23 stories was a pretty stupid idea. And what about the apartments facing the back of the building? Once they got down to the first floor they could've just broke into one of the back facing apartments and made a run for it.
This one shooter apparently only had visual access to one side of the building--and where were all the emergency exits? Fire alarms? You really have to not think too much while watching these types of films---but it was still enjoyable and entertaining.
And the two leads who played Kurtis and Becky were both good. Not a masterpiece but I give it a solid 7 stars. When the killer is revealed it really makes no sense, but it's a fun film nonetheless.
