Not bad for what it is

Warning: Spoilers
HIS NAME WAS POT, BUT THEY CALLED HIM ALLEGRIA is another low budget spaghetti western that somehow works despite the paucity of the plotting and the familiarity of the action. Peter Martell and Gordon Mitchell play a pair of bank robbers who get separated to go off on their own adventures. Martell gets involved with various other characters both good and bad while Mitchell heads off into the desert where he encounters a sinister foe. It's nice to see Mitchell in this film but he has a small role although the other larger than life characters make up for that. It's rather middling as a whole but worth a look for the fans.
