The Looney Tunes Show (2011–2015)

The Looney Tunes Show modernizes the Looney Tunes right. I know some reviewers may argue that it shouldn't exist for not being like the original Looney Tunes animated cartoons but nowadays that's just not allowed to be on modern television (well despite the fact Looney Tunes still comes on Boomerang uncut). This show is where we have the Looney Tunes all in their very own sitcom acting more realistic and humanized and actually does pretty well. Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are roomates in a human house, Porky is their other friend who comes by every now and then, Lola Bunny also appears from Space Jam with a funny sitcom type of personality. Taz is Bugs' and Daffy's pet, Granny and the witch are their neighbors along with Gossamer. Wil E Coyote and Road Runner however are still the same in Season 1 but are produced in CGI segments with more modern technology but actually feels interesting to see. Sylvester and Tweety are also the same as they were in the original Looney Tunes shorts. Marvin is still powerful with taking over the world but is actually civilized on earth and only uses his ray gun when encountering a threat, Pepe isn't just straight out flirting and kissing on others, the two gophers are almost the same but they are more like businessmen, and the rest are there as well which have unique sitcom personalities or haven't changed at all and it somehow surprisingly works. The animation is also pretty good, I do think Bugs Bunny in Season 1 had a cheaper budget on his animation design but the animation gets much better in Season 2, even the background designs improve quite a bit. The voice acting sounds very fit for the characters especially with Jeff Bergman, Bob Bergen, and June Foray. And there's even the Merrie Melodies segments in most of the episodes that at first feel like a complete annoying distraction to the episode until you actually listen to it for a few minutes and they're actually pretty good as well. I get the Chicken Hawk song stuck in my head a lot for some reason. This show definitely deserves a watch if you're a Looney Tunes fan or a Seinfeld fan, just don't expect humor that is literally in extinction nowadays and sitback and enjoy your favorite characters fixed correctly in this generation.
