Stunning as always + the famous tennis court shot... but acting felt a bit over-exaggerated.

Hitchcock is again a visual storyteller mastermind - I will never forget the scene at the tennis court, audience tilting their heads left to right to left to right and just the main protagonist sitting there, staring blankly. These and many visual moments explained the plot without having to listen to dialogue. Camera work is stunning, always keeping up with the characters, elegantly zooming in and out, long takes preferrably; must see.

Characters felt, apart from Robert Walker, felt a bit like they were over-acting everything, even for the 50s and the final fight at the round-about felt over-done to me. Hitchcock became a master in subtle suspense and cinema, but this one feels sometimes like he was still experimenting with "how much does it really need to tell the story".
