No wonder the western countries are always complaining about copyright with the Chinese. This movie CGI was like the same CGI team that does marvel movies. From the way they teleport (Thor) to their shield (Dr strange). It was as if the director hire the entire CGI team from marvel and underpaid them. Even the characters I see similarities with guardian of the Galaxy. Those forcefully imposed cutesy ferrets were like rocket and the girl that turn into a tree reminds me of loosely of Groot. There is no originality with the characters, the animation. Even the story plot was so predictable (I can almost tell the antagonist halfway before the show. Even the demon infestation and manifestation to convince the lead to allow it's takeover reminds me of naruto who has the nine tail sealed inside him.
This is a gel up version of many movies with rip off CGI from marvel. I miss the good old HK movies where there's real stun action, originality and good script, good plot. This movie is a good time killer if you are just looking to just kill 2hr on a boring Sunday afternoon but if you are looking for something better look elsewhere.
