"I do not like these methods. The manufacturing of traitors"
19 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A seemingly disgraced RAF officer Keith Wilson ends up in Berlin broadcasting to the UK in the manner of 'Lord Haw-Haw' but really passing on information to British Intelligence until the net starts to close around him and he has to escape with one more vital message. The film builds up nicely until the explosive ending and keeps one's interest.

There are lots of characters all played well. George Sanders as Wilson is onscreen most of the time and is compelling as usual. Gale Sondergaard is fine too but doesn't have enough screen time to flesh out her role fully and the great Byron Foulger has only one wordless close-up! A good story and one where the hero and heroine are killed at the end which affected me as one got to like them.
