Review of Don't Open Till Christmas

Don't Open Til Christmas (1984) is a movie that came highly recommended from Edward Delgado and is available for free on YouTube (link below). This Scottish horror slasher focuses on a serial killer in Scotland killing Santa Clauses and call girls. Scotland Yard quickly jumps on the cases and begins tracking down the killer. This movie is directed and stars Edmund Purdom (Pieces). The cast also includes Kelly Baker (Slaughter High), Gerry Sundquist (Golden Hill), Pat Astley (Come Play with Me) and Belinda Mayne (Krull). The storyline for this is very fun to watch unfold. You've never seen so many different dressed and sized Santa's getting knifed down. There's also plenty of worthwhile call girls being chased around (platinum blond old school James Bond caliber ladies). This is a fun old school slasher for fans of the genre. This isn't perfect but with a 1 hour and 20 minute run time the pace is perfect for the content. I'd give this a 6/10.
