The Bluebird Of Grumpiness
24 May 2021
A bluebird gets caught up in an aerial battle, and winds up with not only his tail feathers blown off, but knocked onto a distant Caribbean island. He's thoroughly unhappy, so the native crows sing him a calypso number.

That song is almost the entire point of this late Screen Gems cartoon, aside from the thoroughly angry blue bird -- usually seen as an avatar of happiness. In fact, there isn't much to ths cartoon, aside from the usual competent cartooning of the studio; the crows seem to be modeled on the one in the 'Fox and Crow' series.
