An ex-movie stunt driver Nick James is coerced into driving a getaway car, not just for a bank robbery but for the kidnapping of the American president. An enjoyable PM Entertainment film with several exciting action sequences comprising car chases, explosions and bullets spraying around left, right and centre. In a good cast Michael Madsen is solid as Nick, Keith David is entertainingly over the top as the chief villain Lamar and Roy Scheider (the best president the USA never had) is effective in the limited screen time he is given.
Unfortunately mighty Matthias Hues is wasted in a tiny role, has one line and gets shot. What a waste!
